SPEED is a global, non-profit organization led by university students, dedicated to helping communities become more resilient to natural disasters. Established in 2009, our mission is to educate, innovate, and provide sustainable solutions for disaster preparedness and climate change adaptation.

Our Programs

Our awareness campaigns focus on educating communities about the risks of natural disasters and the steps they can take to protect themselves. SPEED cover a wide range of topics, including earthquake safety, flood preparedness, and cyclone response.

SPEED conduct workshops and training sessions for students, community leaders, and local governments on disaster management and mitigation strategies. These sessions provide practical knowledge and skills to enhance community resilience.

SPEED is committed to advancing research in disaster management and climate change adaptation. Our research projects explore innovative solutions and technologies to mitigate the impact of natural disasters.
