Children deprived of education are often trapped in a cycle of disadvantage. However, education has the power to transform their lives, with books being one of its vital components. In recognition of this, SPEED (Save People from Economic and Environmental Disaster) organized a book fair yesterday, February 12th, at 5:00 PM in the courtyard, distributing books among disadvantaged and underprivileged street children.

The event featured a prominent guest, popular cartoonist, literary figure, and comic book author, as well as the chief editor of the monthly satirical magazine “Unmad,” Ahsan Habib.

This initiative aimed to provide access to books to children who might otherwise not have the opportunity to experience the joys of reading. By fostering a love for reading, SPEED hopes to contribute to the education and development of these street children, potentially altering the course of their lives for the better.
