From cyclones and floods to earthquakes and droughts, these events cause significant loss of life, damage to property, and displacement of populations. Some of the most pressing natural disasters include cyclones with associated storm surges, floods, tornadoes, droughts, riverbank erosion, earthquakes, and environmental contamination.
